Four Different Stuffed Jalapenos

Cajun Stuffed Jalapenos (makes approx. 6-7)

1/3 package cream cheese

3 cooked shrimp (minced)

1 ½ tbsp your favorite Cajun seasoning

6-7 jalapenos

6-7 slices of bacon

Pizza Stuffed Jalapenos (makes approx 7-8)

1/4 cup pepperoni (chopped)

1 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese (grated)

3 tbsp pizza sauce

7-8 jalapenos

7-8 slices of bacon

Ham and Swiss Stuffed Jalapenos (makes approx. 7-8)

½ cup black forest ham (chopped)

1 cup Swiss cheese (grated)

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

7-8 jalapenos

7-8 slices of bacon

Traditional Stuffed Jalapenos (makes approx. 12-14)

1 package cream cheese

12-14 jalapenos

12-14 slices of bacon

*All recipes are prepared and cooked the same way.

Start by mixing all of your ingredients in a bowl.

Slice jalapenos length wise. Remove seeds from jalapenos.

Place cheese mixture into both halves of jalapeno. Place both halves together.

Wrap inside of one piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

Once jalapenos are made, place jalapenos into tin foil pouches. I usually

put 4-6 into each pack.

Preheat grill to 350 degrees. Place foil packs directly onto the grill (I try to find

an area that doesn’t have high flames or many coals right underneath it).

Grill for 12-15 minutes turning every 2-3 minutes.

After 12-15 minutes, remove jalapenos from foil packs, and continue to cook

until bacon has fully browned. Serve!

We’ve all had stuffed jalapenos at our tailgates!!! These are just a few

different ways that I make them. What I love about stuffed jalapenos; is that you

can do really whatever you want with them.

*I added an approximation of how many the recipe will make, as we all know

every jalapeno is different so you may get more or less than

what the recipe calls for.

For your next tailgate give your stuffed jalapenos a little twist, and try

one of these recipes!!! Enjoy!!!

  2. Hey Rex,
The cajun stuffed jalapenos are to die for. I made them at my last tailgating event, and I’m making up another 3 dozen of them for tomorrow’s game (as per many requests).

Thanks for checking out the website. I am going to be getting all my recipes up in a printer friendly pdf file in the next few days, so it will be much easier to download.

    Thanks again!
